Our hot tubs are heated using a highly efficient wood-fired heater that heats the water directly from the heating chamber naturally without the need for pumps.

Heating time depends on the starting water temperature, tub size, and firewood used. In most cases, you can expect your hot tub to reach a comfortable soaking temperature in 1.5 – 2.5 hours.

For most wood-fired hot tubs using clean freshwater, 304-grade stainless steel is a durable and cost-effective choice. It provides excellent corrosion resistance for normal residential use when the water is maintained correctly.
316-grade stainless steel offers greater protection against corrosion and is recommended for coastal locations, higher-salt environments or demanding commercial applications.

Our wood-fired hot tubs can comfortably reach temperatures of 38°C to 40°C, with the ability to heat higher if required. We recommend maintaining a safe and comfortable soaking temperature.

Our wood-fired hot tubs are designed to provide a fresh, clean bathing experience rather than functioning as a permanently filled spa. As they do not use pumps, filters, or chemical sanitising systems, we recommend draining the water regularly. This not only maintains excellent water hygiene but also helps protect and care for the stainless steel liner for years of reliable use.

No. We do not recommend using chlorine, bromine, or other spa chemicals in our wood-fired hot tubs. Our tubs are designed to be enjoyed with fresh water, providing a more natural bathing experience.
